James Martin-Dehtiarov
James is an LSE alumnus and Sandhurst-commissioned British Army combat infantry officer, leaving service in 2017. Following a career in asset management overseeing £2B+ portfolios, he returned to the security sector, where he has structured and led $6.4B in international procurement and strategic investment deals with NATO governments and leading defence OEMs. He also advises senior government officials and institutional stakeholders on operational strategy, risk mitigation, and large-scale capability development, bringing a rare combination of military, financial, and strategic expertise to complex defence and security projects.
Asanka Pathiraja
Asanka is an honours graduate of the London School of Economics and a New York Bar-qualified attorney. He brings over a decade of experience in tech-venture investing and capital markets, having been an early investor in Virtualitics (used by the U.S. DoD) and IRIS Audio (deployed by the British Military). He held a leadership role at 8 Rivers Capital, where he helped list NetPower on the NYSE at a $2.2B valuation. Earlier in his career, he practiced law in New York, leading $2B+ in transactions, and served as a Middle East Policy Analyst under U.S. President Jimmy Carter.


Neil Martin
Neil is an Oxford graduate and seasoned C-suite executive with over 25 years of global leadership in strategy, commercial operations, and M&A. He has led organisations through growth, transformation, and renewal across sectors and geographies, from early-stage ventures to mature enterprises. His experience includes executing turnarounds, driving exits, and leading major refinancing initiatives. Known for his corporate development expertise, he combines analytical rigour with strategic vision to deliver sustained performance and trusted leadership.
Jameel Janjua
Jameel is a decorated Canadian fighter and test pilot with over 5,000 flight hours across 65+ aircraft. A graduate of the Royal Military College, MIT (MSc Aeronautics & Astronautics) and Wharton (MBA, Palmer Scholar), he served as an RCAF CF-18 pilot, Fighter Weapons Instructor, and flew 84 combat missions in RAF Tornado GR4s. He graduated from the USAF Test Pilot School and later served with Virgin Galactic, where in June 2024 he became the first Canadian to pilot a commercial spaceship, co-piloting Galactic 07, an historic milestone in aerospace.


Sir Peter Wall GCB CBE
General Sir Peter Wall GCB CBE MA is a retired British Army General who served as Chief of the General Staff, the professional head of the Army, from 2010–2014. Commissioned into the Royal Engineers and educated in engineering at Cambridge, he spent a 40-year career in senior operational and strategic roles, shaping defence strategy and advising government on national security. He is CEO and co-founder of leadership firm Amicus, a Board Director at General Dynamics, Chairman of FGP Group, and President of the charity Combat Stress.
